with the exception of the ending, everything about lechucks revenge is almost flawless

User Rating: 9.1 | Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge PC
In this installment, wannabe pirate Guybrush Threepwood goes on a search for the greatest treasure in the Caribbean: Big whoop. While on his quest for big whoop, he tries his best to win back the love of Elaine Marley, the governor of three islands.
Guybrush’ arch nemesis, zombie pirate lechuck, makes a comeback and this time he’s bent on getting rid of guybrush once and for all. The voodoo lady, a seer, tells guybrush that the final awnser lies in the mysterious treasure of big whoop.

That sums up the story. The game itself is sprinkled with insanely unbelievable puzzles which will make you smile and sometimes laugh your *** off. The dialogues are witty and better than they were in the previous monkey island game and the game itself is much larger both in terms of length and variety in gameplay. For instance, in this game you’ll be able to choose which of the three islands you want to visit and you have the choice of completing puzzles in different order. Some of the puzzles are very difficult. Infact, this game is much more difficult than the previous monkey island game.
Make no mistake, this game is brilliant. Things like the spitting competition and the final fight with lechuck where you have to make a voodoo doll and use it on lechuck will make you laugh hard.
MI 2 will pit you against brilliant situations and puzzles and you’re bound to enjoy it if you’re a fan of adventure with a taste for old school.

Pros:
- challenging puzzles
- nice gameplay variety
- brilliant dialogues and high quality writing
- never gets old

Cons:
- no monkey Island. A sequel with no monkey island!!!
- Not even monkeys!!!
- Disappointing ending
