A great game with awesome create tools and intense racing action.

ModNationRacers is alot like LittleBigPlanet and Mario Kart mixed together. You play as a character called Tag, you can customize his look and kart through the story mode. In the story mode they have alot of 'intense, difficult' races.The AI is programmed very well, to well, should I say. But enough with the story, the parts where the game shines are it's amazing online and create modes. The create mode allows you to make tracks, mods, and karts. In my opinion the mod creator is most flexible, the track creator 2nd most flexible, and track creator least flexible. The mod and kart creator allow you to put stickers, premade features, (that can animate) and 3D head objects on your character. An average mod would just have stuff like clothes and the average parts. But you can go way further than that, with a range of gradients, grouping, and layering tools. You could create Mods in photoshop quality. The online mode is definitely a plus. What other games let you rush through your own track firing lightning bolts at other players, the gameplay is very fast and keeps you focusing and wanting to improve. While your also occupied with customization of your kart,mod, and track.
This game is an addictive, fun, just great party game.
