So, even if you went and bought the 3G PS Vita for 300 DOLLARS plus the 15 dollar monthly plan, they released a game that has no online.

Genius.

I liked the game, but it was disappointing knowing that doesn't have any online mode, it rest a lot of points, i don't recommend purchase it!

So there is no online multiplayer but can you play with your friend who is next to you?

I remember brushing the demo for the psp off a year before, but this game brings a ps3 version to the handheld quite effectively. Premium controls and unlimited levels, carts, and character designs makes this a pretty good game. It's much better than the drab game that was released on the PSP and PS3 a year earlier, perhaps proving that content was all that was needed. I love Mario Kart, but getting bored of the constant content rehash of MK7. I simply need something new and this is it. No online, but its only $30. I'll admit I'd rather race bots.

ModNation Racers was all about sharing your character and kart customizations online.it doesn't feel right to not have online for Road Trip. :(

Damn...that's disappointing. I'm sure I'll still have fun with it.

Wow that was a dumb thing to do not including online, I mean play, create, and share is online, this kart racer thrived online in the PS3 version.

@Kevin-V yeah I was a bit harsh was in a bad mood when I wrote that and I never notice those problems either because they are so small or was busy having allot of fun playing then game but I still will give it A- (like that rating system more easier to understand) no online did bring it down some but not by allot but I do believe it deserves a higher rating and sorry I was so harsh

Yeaaa I feel bad when you all play a game for 10-20+ hours, spend a lot of time writing the review and shooting the video, only to be branded as biased or paid off. But the silent majority appreciates the time you invest.

@shadowhunter0 -- How can you say this review is off? We scored it almost the same as the Metacritic average--which is actually a little lower than our score. What you say makes zero sense. Also, I hope you realize that almost every critic has made the same points about the framerate and sluggish menus.

I realize the Sony Defense Force is out in full glory, but goodness gracious. You make it sound like we are out on a limb, when actually, we have joined a chorus of people all saying the exact same things :/

Do any of you fanboys actually listen to the reviews?

Gah so much gamespot hate. It's stupid. I had this game preordered until I saw it had no online.

anther vita game gets a score lower then what it deserves imho this is the best mnr to date and yes it does sucks that it doesn't have online but they have already said they are working to patch it in and that is my only problem with this game is no online races but there is ad-hoc mode and most people that I plan on racing against lives near me so we would just use ad-hoc until/if they add online mode

Hmm sometimes a bad frame rate is good when the game is too hectic lol. Yeah the lack of online really hurts my interest in the game.
