Despite its extreme simplicity, Jamdat Bowling is the type of game you'll play again and again--at work, on the train, and beyond. There's a reason why this game broke the mobile sales record to become cell-phone gaming's first smash hit, and it lies in the perfectly constructed gameplay.
Bowling a set or two is quick, and all you need to play is a good sense of timing. Play is controlled by three bars: one controlling speed, one for choosing the ball's direction, and another for applying spin. The player times his button presses so that the cursors oscillating between the extremes of these bars land in the appropriate places.
The most impressive part of Jamdat Bowling is its excellent animations. It's a delight to watch the pins spin after being knocked down.
