Hitman targets May 26 Euro-release

Eidos confirms Hitman: Blood Money will be on European shop shelves this Friday on the Xbox 360, PC, PS2, and Xbox.

Eidos Interactive has announced that Hitman: Blood Money has shipped to European retailers and will be on sale beginning Friday, May 26. The game is on sale for the Xbox 360 (recommended retail price £49.99), Xbox and PS2 (RRP £39.99), and PC (RRP £29.99). It bears an 18 BBFC certificate in the UK. The game is rated M for Mature in North America and is planned for release there on May 30.

Developed by Io Interactive, Hitman: Blood Money is the fourth game in the series. This time, Agent 47 sees a more powerful agency go up against his own, The ICA. When he loses his contract with The ICA, he travels to America to hunt down those responsible, taking in locations such as Las Vegas in along the way.

    If you've got a 4k gaming rig, sure. You can hope that they allow for more textures than the 360. Of course the Hitman series was never the prettiest out there anyway.

    Demo was okay, still getting it for the 360. Pisses me off that Eidos is making North America wait 4 more days than the rest of the world.

    they should change the information in eidos site , saying that hitman release is 31st May for every country

    PC and Xbox 360 has some advanced techniques buffing ups. Blood money in HD my 360 version is on its way and should be here for Firday.

    im going for the pc version cause im renting the 360 version but i wonder why the U.K. is gonna get the game first, i was hoping we would get it the 26th also...oh well.

    Eidos is a UK based publishers so their stuff is always out in the EU a lil early, its the other way around with US based publishers. Wettin my pants, my pre-order is already in the mail!!!!

    Would be great if 47 could knock Lara off the top of the charts, but thats properbly wishful thinking
