Fun for Gundam fans, Mecha fans, and arcade shooter fans.

If you don't like Gundam then this game is not for you. If you don't like arcade shooters (Virtual On, etc.) then this game is not for you. However if you happen to enjoy arcade shooters or are a big Gundam fan then this game is perfect for you!
This game is pretty similar to Federation v.s. Zeon but with some major upgrades. Formost is the addition of thirty or so mobile suits from Zeta Gundam and ZZ Gundam. Many of these new suits have a wave rider form (transformation). Also there are close to forty new pilots are available to use, each one spouting lines from the anime. Plus the levels are much nicer than in FvZ. Game play remains the same arcade style shooting, so if you didn't enjoy FvZ or Virtual On then this game is going to bore you. But I found it very enjoyable to play the simple arcade style matches. The major story mode will keep you playing however. There are some where around 500+ missions that follow the story of Gundam and Zeta and even introduce alternate what if senarios such as what if Amuro had stayed with the Federation and had become a Titan pilot. This mode is set up on a timeline consisting of the years 0079-0086 of the Universal Century and on the side are the characters. Each character can complete the game by following different paths down the time line, many of which are 'what-if' (player character) lived or 'what if' (some one like Lalah) lived making for an interesting game if you have ever wanted to see these characters fighting through their deaths! Multiplayer is still their, along with Arcade mode and Survival mode. Also the mobile armors are fully playable so you can unlock MA's like the Psyco Gundam. There is also a shop where you can spend points earned in other modes to buy characters, voices, music, art and MS models. All in all it is a good game that will be most enjoyed by gundam fans and arcade shooter fans.
