This Game Just For Those Who Watched Gundam And Zeta Gundam, and For The FANS!!!

User Rating: 8.5 | Kidou Senshi Gundam: Gundam vs. Z Gundam PS2
Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam vs Zeta Gundam
is really a Great Game, but not without Flaws..

The Story: The Goal Of This Game is to alter the results of The One Year War and The Gryps War both featured in Gundam And Zeta Gundam....
And that all in the Universal Century Mode, where you choose what side you want to play, E.F/A.U.E.G - Titans - Zeon/Axis...
You will begins in the events of zeta, and anytime you can change the side to complete the others' missions....

the game is very long, you play the role of every character of the series, and to change some plots of the story.
for example, you can change the Camille Disabled Mind Event, which by saving Four earlier..
have Quattro Bajeena (Char) get victory at the end, against Haman.
etc.....
despite the idea is very interesting and always make you want more, but the very amount of levels you across many times, sometimes make you want to avoid that.
Like A.E.U.G's Roberto and Appoly, both have the same levels.
and if they survived a new missions will appear and finish it.

the sounds of the game, specially the actor voices is very BAD,
unlike the Japanese voices which is very fitting.
for whoever watched the anime in ***/Eng Sub, will hate this like me.. fortunately not every time you hear their voices...
the sound effects is OK!, but not that interesting either..

the most thing i love about the sounds of the game, is the changing the Bgms depending on the situation..
The Bgms are all from the both series.
ex: If Camile and Roberto sorts out on a mission and Roberto got down, Camille say the same words from the anime, and bgms changing to the bgms where Camille got very angry, which is called "Zeta Theme" the same played in the final moment between Camille and Scirocco.
not just that, for every character, even Amuro if he loses Lala the bgm changing to one used in the series "Begining".
and in the middle of some missions another team shows up (Yazan Eventually) the bgm changing to a more attractive Battle Bgm...

the controls, maybe the only major problem of the game, the controls is still manageable, but the slow-turn make that a big disaster, though it's very difficult to avoid an attack, you need to be very skillful to avoid an attack, even you avoid one, some other shot will eventually hit you, because the movements of the mobile suits in this game are very bad.
it's like you moving a HUGE Fighting Castle, not like the concept, a light,fast,maneuver,etc....

and the Beam Saber attack when triggered it won't stopped, so if you couldn't hit a target, then you become a wide-open for any attack..

The Camera, though not always bad, but as mentioned, you can not move it as you like, even the right-analog won't move it..
sometime there somethings occurs in the background you may wish to see, this game won't you do that..
and without the Auto-Lock-on the game is IMPOSSIBLE...

Anime vs This Game:
I've nearly watched every series of the saga, from Gundam 0079 to Gundam 00...
This game don't have the amazings of the series..
like the Beam Rifle, it's nowhere like that in the series, the beams here just a very narrow beam that barely hit and do a damage.
though it's very affective against a standard MSs (GM,Rick Dias,etc....) it's VERY Weak against the leaders or a character pilots....

Let's About it's Goods:
-very addictive to FANS (yes, i play it everyday and for hours).
-A gift to whose Love Zeta Gundam Series.. (Just Like Me)
-Changing The Outcome of Universal Century is a very interesting idea... and lovable.
- EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER AND MOBILE SUIT/ARMOR IS PLAYABLE.... whether it from the original series or Zeta Gundam, and there is a Secret appearance of Gundam ZZ which needs requirements to unlock it.
- Outstanding way of changing the bgm during events of the series, and uses more attractive themes when facing an important (boss) character...
-the unlockables, there are a TONS of it, but I'm not the type of unlocking a thing which is not useful in the main game...
though there are "benefits", which you can unlock new routes to the arcade game, or unlocking special MS, like Psycho Gundam/ MK II... but they are needs requirements...
-very loooong Game, i just got this game from 3 monthes, and i'm just 50% in progress (As Of Today...28/9/10).
- a Great Multi-player mode.

Finally, I just recommend this game for any Gundam Fans specially for Zeta...
but it may been accepted by some non-fans, but it can't be guaranteed...
