I'll be up front: this is a fun game and a frustrating game at the same time. MLB Slugfest: Loaded comes with the standard baseball game options such as: Quickplay, Franchise Mode, and Home Run Derby. Also has Xbox live. Here are the pros: You can customize the number of innings/ difficulty, also pick witch stadium to play in. Home Run Derby is always fun. When you play with a friend, you can pick Slugfest mode (my favorite). Slugfest Mode gives you special pitches, and when your batter is on a streak, or sometimes get hit by a pitch. They go on fire. What is so special about this? Well, the player can bat better and when they get the ball in the outfield they throw about twice as fast!!! Another thing that sets this baseball game apart from the rest. When your player is on base, you can hit the infielder, or the infielder can slug the runner. Great way to take out your frustration. The cons: For one, when your batting and hit a ball, the runner only goes to one base. You have to hit the "white" button to keep running. And hit the "black" button to go back. Seems easy right? Wrong, your batter may keep running and stop when you don't want him too. Most of the time, your runners run at the same time. When your in the outfield and get a ball and want to throw to say third base. A lot of times the fielder throws it to the wrong base even if your pressing for third base. When you weight in these pros and cons. The game is still fun but very frustrating at times. Unless your really a baseball fan or looking for a baseball game. You should probably rent this game first.
