Good teams foul off an unrealistic amount of pitches. When playing the Yankees or Red Sox as the Rays it seemed like I would always be close to 100 pitches by the 6th inning. Any other team it would around the 8th inning. If anything most of my pitches would be meatballs that they'd foul off just to artificially increase my pitch count.

i'll have to give that a shot. i just hate when it seems "rigged". i'll purposely zing a fastball right down the middle just to dare them to hit it fair... and they'll still foulf it off. and it's always against BOS or NY.

NYY and BOS are two teams known for patience at the plate, and keeping long bats alive by fouling off many pitches. So it's pretty realistic they would be doing that.

there was a slider in '12 for this as well... TC just didnt utilize it though.
