The difficulty makes this game virtually unplayable. It looks amazing, but thats all it has to offer.

First off, the graphics look great. Player faces look good, the stadiums are replicated accuratley, the animations are done well.
The gameplay is standard for a baseball game. The square, triangle, circle, and X button are to throw to the bases, and X is to swing with square as a power swing. Now the gameplay is very solid, but the A.I. difficulty is so frustrating. I played 5 full games and I find that I only score by hitting home runs. It is so hard to get a legit base hit, its even harder to advance a baserunner. There are way too many pop-outs and grounders. You can time the swing perfectly and even aim wghere you want to hit but to no avail.
Road to the Show, an interesting mode, a superstar mode for baseball. You make a player, play in the minors and work your way up to the big league. Sounds fun, too bad this mode is also broken beyond repair. You have to complete goals like reach base or drive a run in, if you succeed you will receive points to improve your players skill. But that is a huge "if" because it is very ahrd to reach base and when you fail the penalties are crippling, a subtraction of points. Say you earn 20 points for driving a run in, and then you fail to accomplish another goal, the failed goal will take away 15-20 points from your total often leaving you with nothing by the games end.

All in all this games presentation and graphics greatly resemble baseball in many ways, its harsh computer AI just destroys this game in my opinion, I know about baseball, I have played baseball games but when it becomes impossible to win on normal? I consider myself a pretty hardcore gamer and this game is just ridiculous.
