Great core game, with a few nagging issues.

User Rating: 8.9 | MLB 07: The Show PS2
I first have to say that I have been a fan of the MLB games since the PlayStation days, and this is even better than the classics. The gameplay, while flawed, does so many things right that its hard to notice the wrongs. I enjoyed the soundtrack, and the color commentary is almost always within 2-5 seconds of the play happening. There are a lot of modes, covering just managing a team, to controlling a player through his entire career, and everything in between.

Gameplay: The game is very fun, whether you are playing an actual game of baseball or managing a team, or watching your Road to the Show player flourish, there is just a lot of game to played, and its positives far outweigh the negatives. A few nagging glitches (like no CPU trading and wrong animation choices) stop the game from playing perfectly, but I still think it plays superbly.

Graphics: When graphics like these are a blemish, you know you have a good game on your hands. The player models are gorgeous, the animations are fluid (for the most part), and teh crowds suck. Typical The Show, but that is definately not a bad thing.

Sound: Another positive, the sound is good. I liked the soundtrack, even if it gets old after about your 20th listen-through. The commentary of Matt,Dave, and Rex work well together, and actually have some very specific sayings.

Overall Value: Overall, this game is jam-packed with features, almost all of them fully-developed. What are you reading my review for? Go buy this game, now.
