MLB 07 is arcady and simple, with plenty of game modes, especially Road to the Show

This game is similar to 06, but Road to the Show is completely different. This time you don't have to play the whole game, but fast forward to your player's plays instead. Pitchers and shortstops get the most action and most of the time you get 3 at bats a game. The loading times are long though, as there is a loading screen between each play when your player does something in Road to the Show. The game has a few glitches, like players that run through walls when making a leaping catch. Another is a glitch that doesn't occur that often, but baserunners skip a base, and run across the field to the next base, or no where in particular. Other than that the game plays fine, with average fielding, though better than 2K, and batting is old school without having to flick the thumbstick. Pitchers gain and lose control during appropriate situations, but they lose a lot of stamina fast when doing bad. Luckily pitcher stamina can be increased from the options menu, and there are many ways to juice the players. Online has a lot of lag which makes fielding almost impossible, but its still fun and easy to find a game against other people. Sometimes though other people turn the PSP off and it doesn't count as a win until a certain inning. This years baseball game is fun, and deeper than expected, that can last forever with season mode and road to the show. The graphics up close when batting are good, and average in the distance.
