Great Vertical Scrolling Shooter

This game was one of the last games released on the Intellivision console. Its programming reflects the maturity of the system, with excellent graphics and sound for its vintage.

You control a bombing aircraft that flies vertically throughout a countryside. You can move left, right, forward, and backward, as well as "up and down" relative to the ground. This aids you in aiming your bombs at the various targets on the ground. The bombs take time to reach the ground, more time is taken if you are higher in altitude. You are not free to bomb aimlessly, though. You are shot at by tanks on the ground and pursued by other planes that track your movements. The combination of dodging ground and airborne attacks was very innovative and challenging at the time. You can shoot other aircraft and bomb by pressing the side buttons, and the controller is very responsive.

Overall, this was a very novel game that still has a lot of good gameplay left in it.
