Marina: Shake shake shake...

User Rating: 8.1 | Yuke Yuke!! Trouble Makers N64
Crazy game from across the bay; from the far east comes a green-haired maid-bot who apparently* is really hot to the her owner, an dirty old man who keeps getting kidnapped by a massive team of idiots. Oh, robot's named Marina, you're her, and you gotta save this guy and probably save the world too...
*I dunno, it's a freakin' robot; I personally don't think so, but the old bugger seems to be into 'er.

How many games let you pick up priests and toss them relentlessly into brick walls? (Not counting Spawn.) See, what I just said there sounds pretty wrong; but when you're an disproportionate animé robot and the priest has a giant rubbery skull that's about 3/4s of his body, it's pretty darn funny.

Some of these sprites are invincible; many times did I throw Timmy Handicap into the fire and keep him there for hours; he didn't die! Marina, give her a minute and she's roast-droid.

I digress; you pick up people, and shake em around for spare change! Sweet, random cartoon violence and petty thievery! Marina: Shake shake shake.... Shake shake shake...

One level spins a lot, and with a 3D background this is sort of .. dizzifyingly cool.

Two problems with this game; first, there's only two save files, and we had a lot more people playing this game than two. Standard's three (since three is a prime number), and two's just stupid. Only game I've ever played with two save files.
: Only game I can think of for the N64 which uses control pad to move the character around. This isn't so bad, it's just awkward; you can't go from Mario to Mishief Makers to Zelda without recalibrating your brain each time.

Music's kind of annoying, but I can tune it out. The time-trial for each level is difficult, but who doesn't like a challenge?

Good game, fun game. Wholesome, clean fun. They never made a sequel (or, I don't think they did), making this just another 1-hit random game, like Earthbound used to be. Like ... E.V.O.

Oh, and you get to whip a soccer ball at a kat!
