Remember all those games that gives you and awesome demo, but the real game turns out crappy? Well Mirror's Edge surely isn't one of them. The focus of the game is to use the special movement skills to get though obstacles. And it did exactly that very well. Although the moves the main character can do are clearly impossible in real life (even with 1,000 years of training), they are still cool to perform.
Shooting and fighting is only a very minor part of this game. So minor that I won't even call this game a shooter. If you are interested in a full shooter instead look elsewhere.
However the player must like this gaming style to enjoy this game. I would recommend trying the demo before buying this game. If you love the demo then don't hesitate to get this, as it delivers exactly what the demo promised.
