Good music/atmosphere, could have better graphics

This game reminds me a lot of Morrowind. It explains the people who never played a game like that that they will feel lost in the beginning, having no clue what to do.

Graphics could be better but it sure runs a lot faster that Morrowind despite the very clever scripts active the entire time. Environments are big, but not too big. The concepts of the design are pretty good, there are many memorable moments. Most of the quests are quite enjoyable, you'll feel like part of a world.

Personally I don't recommend trying this game from a 3D-shooter perspective, then you're gonna be disappointed as thats not what it's meant to be, you're no Conan. You need to have done some oldskool open-ended RPG's to get the concept of these kind of games or you're gonna be totally LOST. The website provides some nice documentation though that can get you started, and the community has a lot of good support.

The models are good. Nowhere near that of any 2006 3D-shooter but that would take down frame-rate too easily. Some of the faces look very realistic, but still fit in that fantasy-look the rest of the game is having, although some are a bit low poly it seems.
You can also play in first person and 3rd person, which is about a standard these days.
The memory-filled music of the game is amazing and varied and kept me wanting more even though there's over 2 hours of it. It also sounds like a different kind of fantasy music, very emotional, it covers many different styles really well.. No more annoying loops all over and over again that get repetitive.
The game is highly customisable. I haven't been into this kind of modding myself yet, but self-made creations here are welcome. The game also runs well on many different systems I tested on, you can scale details and use sliders to do so. However I kept them to the max either way, because in an RPG like this you don't have to rely on quick reactions like you would in a 3D-shooter.

And last but not least, its cheap and it's more fun to play than Everquest 2 and maybe even Guildwars any day for me. The more you play it, the more you seem to get out of it.
