What other game allows for so many uses, and is so open-ended? Take, for example, the following:
this game is realy awsome.
you can add mods to the game (new resources, mobs, ways of games)
Does anyone know if they will do an updated review of minecraft as it progresses? As a lot of the unfinished aspects of the game have been fleshed out and improved since this review was posted.
They should create a special tool in the game that allows users to set up non-lan servers easily with special in game controls to manage it all.
minecraft is amazing and if you watch the yogscast, thesyndicateproject...ect....
you'll know what an amazing game it is, i mean you can create anything you can imagine!
warcraft, starcraft...minecraft? Cut the crap minecraft...8.5 rating? Total BS!!! The game feels like crap. I couldn't believe a friend of mine wasted money on this game. I really don't like the idea of playing in a world I create (where's the fun in that?) and the graphics totally sucks and it hurts in the eyes just playing it in at least half an hour. I remember playing a pc game with a better graphics than this 6 years ago.
I think the reviewer is lying in front of everyone watching this review. No offense to the fans of this game, but it really feels like "crap" and boring as hell. "Brutal challenge..?" BORING! The review is a big lie. Probably the reviewer is just a long time fan.
@The_Great_Purge that's just your opinion, and the graphics are supposed to be like that, it is all 8-bit and old school, I'm no fan of minecraft either but you don't need to go on this crazy rage cuz some people actually like stuff like this

i agree with his review completely, only that the crafting system is quite enjoyable because learning in games can be quite fun, as instead of gaining "XP" youre actually learning and gaining more and more experiances in the game that allow you to quickly know what to do. and thats very exciting believe it or not. its exciting in the sense that instead of it telling you what or how to do something, you get to find out yourself, whether that be looking it up on the internet or legitmately figuring it out on the spot, either way finding out how it works in the game is very very fun. its like finding another king tuts tomb. its just this feeling of joy and overall excitment. definitly the multiplayer is the best part as well. if youre interested in a server that would work best i highly recommend LOSTCRAFT. they have PVP, FreeBuild, Survival, and soon to be Hungar Games Server, really good server listings! and no im not a paid advertiser either i legitmately (after looking everywhere for a good server) founf LOSTCRAFT and found it to be the very best of the best! check it out!
Oh.... I played the free demo and it sucked horribly. Now looking at this I can see why poeple even play this game lol. Looks amazing! F(U&*(&^ck graphics..... Looks like fun!

1 Like minecraft is, at the moment, only dig. distributed. Im under the impression that mojang stated they don't see it coming out on a physical disk. i'd like to note that terraria, which was based on minecraft, was released on physical disk when the dev team decided they are stopping work on new features for the game.
@ErdeiMarius The game isn't about good graphics, it's all about gameplay, which is actually quite addictive.
good review, your the best reviewer. @erdeimarius i had the same mind set as you. but its a good game. think of it as this. people like to make model airplanes or build puzzles. this game alows you make anything that you can think of with no limits and you can show it off to your friends.
