I got minecraft over 2 years ago and it is still my favorite computer game to date. This game takes place in a post-end of the world scenario, where the main goal is just to survive and eventually to thrive on the landscape. A good source for all things minecraft is minecraftwiki.net if you want to learn any crafting recipes or enemy information. It is a great game for all ages to enjoy because of its simplicity and easily comprehendable controls and layout. You can fight, explore, and most importantly- build whatever you can think of. My favorite part of the game is probably all of the mods that you can get for the game to enhance its experience. I got the mod "industrialcraft" which allows much more itms lie laser guns, nuclear reactors, automatic mining machines, etc. You can also download the Technic minecraft mod pack, which is incredible because it includes many huge mods like Industrialcraft, Buildcraft, Railcraft, and many more. So do your self a favor and get minecraft.
