You truly get into building and exploring the world and feel a connection to each world you make. The excellent soundtrack made by c418 makes the game truly immersing. The game even gets more immersing when playing with friends and other people.
Working together will make the work a lot faster, but the loot will be spread and you may not always get to build exactly what you want.
PvP also exists and is a completely different game, you have to think about stealth and weapons rather than making your base look 'pretty' and how you want it.
The creative mode is another game changer that can totally change the way you play the game, focusing more on building than defenses and gathering resources.
