We should be able to build Scarecreepers. As an alternative to ocelots.

Like a scarecrow, of course, but it makes creepers stay away from it.

Why not tame a bunch then put them in pens? Its better than decapitateing them...

Repels creepers from entering certain XYZ radius.
A similar recipe for all hostile mobs could be made as well, might as well go that far if you're gonna start with creepers. The only thing that'd need replacing is the mob head and the color wool.

To be fair, a lot of us had no choice but to kill a bunch of kittens a few versions back because once tamed they would randomly teleport to you from their "sit" location while you were out adventuring and potentially kill you if you were building a bridge over lava. I came thiiiiis close to dying when my cat appeared out of nowhere and started nuzzling me over lava and, well, it was either him or me.
Also, they mrow constantly and serve no purpose other than to sit around one villager couple's highly-vulnerable netherrack pyramid.

I like to keep things short and to the point. I could go on with the meaning of survival but we all know what it means. Apparently it's like a political debate in the sense that people have different interpretations such as griefs ruining things/going too far, or that it is a part of life/survival.

Creepers. They prevent them from doing their only in-game function (excluding walking). To completely prevent that is just stupid. Just be vigilant and all is well.

Plus you can already get pets who follow you that do the same thing. >_>

I hate the cats as well. Dogs and cats need more use imo. If we add scare-anythings, we need ravenous crows that eat wheat crops.

Yeah and you should be able to catch Malaria and if you can't find a village priest to regularly cure you you will die and then die again a full day after you respawn if not treated. Forever.
