Need mods that do not require ModLoader.....

I've been playing with mods and I have found one that looks very interesting. The only issue is: It doesnt work with Modloader and upon installing the mod it all my other mod items to be changed to other blocks (Which is quite funny having skeleton lanterns turn into pig spawners) and even made my game crash every time I clicked my chests or anything else. I really want to use this mod but it requires me not to use Modloader.

Any good mods that do not require modloader?

Like I said, I found a mod I really want to use but it doesnt work with Modloader.

i would have to look for a mod that doesnt use modloader, i hear your question, but i dont think you will find too much at all, maybe early mods, that worked b4 getting complicated.

ummm... what?!

Oddly enough the Skull lanterns I got from the Fossils and Archeology mod turn into pig spawners when the mod is not enabled.
