Good adventure maps?

I'm sure with pistons out there must be some better adventure maps out there.
Played both the professor grizwald maps, played both gourd avengers and loved all those maps.
Most of the things i played after that were a little lacking/outdated.

can anybody recommend me any awesome adventure maps?

Have you ever heard of Vechs' Super Hostile Maps? There are 8 maps total I think, and as the name states, they are hostile. Definitely the hardest maps I've played in Minecraft, but he has some very creative stuff. I've been hooked on his maps for weeks.

ive only beaten one of his map, and i got to admit, they are hard as hell. Ive gotten stuck so many times.

Super hostile #7: Legendary. It's a super hostile map, in fact it's so hard it has it's own difficulty. It's the hardest of all the super hostile's, and don't expect to come out there in a short amount of time, though when you do you will have learned advanced survival techniques.

^ I believe that is the link to the main page with all the Super Hostile Maps. I haven't played all of them yet, but the one's I have played have been entertaining to say the least. You will die. A lot. I like them because it feels like there is a goal (finishing the Victory Monument).

I have pretty much finished up Sea of Fire, Black Desert and Kaizo Caverns and recently started Legendary. It is rough, but some of the landscape is breath taking. And the last one he released recently is supposed to be a lot easier than the others from what I hear.

If you don't like those, the only other maps I've played were Survival Sands, which was a desert themed map with a lot of ruins/pyramids, and the Four Towers, which is more of a linear adventure thru 4 huge towers. They were also fun, but they might be old now.
