Command blocks are so freaking nice!

I don't like people using command blocks in their (no longer) legit survival worlds... But to each his own.

And why exactly would you care someone was doing in their world? It's their world, I could care less what they use or don't use, as long as they're having fun.

Why does it matter if a world is legit or not? Isn't the game supposed to be fun? Oh, right, it is. That's what I'm doing here.

If spawning in items is fun for you, then good for you.

There's a serious lack of understanding what "to each their own" means in this topic.

It's funny how stating "I hate cookies" looks bad by people that love cookies, but if I just add a simple "But to each their own", it should balance things out and people should be like "Oh okay, move along". But nope, this is the INTERNET.

You kinda need to use command block teleports if you want to set up a new base after an update that adds more ores, and you need that new base to be far enough way to actually generate those new ores. Unless you like wasting a few minutes going back and forth over and over. Personally, I find wasting time doing nothing stimulating to be just that--a waste of time, so I avoid it. But lots of people who play this game insist that everything is as "difficult" (read: completely thoughtless and easy, but time-consuming) as possible.

Again, to each his own. But I prefer building extremely long minecart rides that go a few thousand meters to get to new chunks over cheating in a command block for teleporting purposes. You could argue people that build gigantic castles for nothing but aesthetics is a waste of time too, when they can just MCedit or build it in creative mode instead.

Just a personal preference. If you can't craft or obtain it in survival mode, then you shouldn't be able to use it in survival mode. Command blocks are just a bit overpowered in survival mode. It cost nothing, it doesn't use any type of fuel, etc. But like I said, if you like spawning in items, then go for it. It is a sandbox game after all. Have fun.
