People hosting 24 hour servers, not online for 24 hours... wtf...

I'm looking to spend time building things with people, but all these "24 hour" servers I join either don't get back on minecraft or play BO2/Halo 4/Something else. So, I've come up with an idea.
I'm looking to spend hours at a time playing, with or without people, and be able to actually start up where I left off at.
If anyone's interested, my Xbox IS on 24 hours a day, but around the time my Fiancee get's home from work we tend to watch Netflix. This won't be a full 24 hour server, but it will be the closest thing I can achieve.
I do live in Alaska, so I'm between 1-5 hours behind everyone else in the US, so by the time she get's off work and home everyone would be waking up and going to school/work I'd assume...
If anyone wants to join me in starting a new Survival Mode on Hard, post a reply, send a message, etc. I don't have a lot of room on my friend's list so I need someone else who'd be able to invite people when I'm at work and leave my Xbox on.

Perfectly fine. Found a Seed that I'm about to write down and try creating a completely new world from. People on my friend's list keep doing stupid s*** like luring Creepers to this new village I just placed furnishings in and whatnot... <<; Oh, and taking my bed, they do that too..

I will be on Minecraft in like, 5 minutes. I decided it'd be fun to almost catch my dinner on fire a while back so I decided to take a break from Minecraft as I was obviously distracted from cooking... I'm gonna go smoke and message you guys when i'm back.

All I know is my Xbox ran for about a month straight aside from maybe an hour or two when the power shut off in my apartment. So I'd assume it's plausible.

Well it looks like people are interested... I'll go ahead and see what I can do. It'll probably won't be a literal 24/7 game I have hosted, as me and the Fiancee watch Netflix, and when she has a day off I give her complete control of the Xbox. I'll have to clear out my friends list and try to find sometime to start this.

I dont see the point of 24/7servers. The xbox only has 7 slots for other players. We cannot easily pass the server onto an admin when the host is gone either. Sorry but if you want a 24/7 server get the pc version you can have a 100+ players on at a time. Not to mention the cost of electric bills.
Its a good idea to try because then people can see that we want to use it like that. Hopefully 4J will give us a bigger update for multiplayer. Like saving maps, sending them to friends, larger lobbies, etc
