This is rediculous that this crap gets so much coverage.

Why is this game for slightly adults, and five year old children so popular. This is a a glorified lego game, based on 20 year old technology. You boring fools have deluded yourselves into thinking this is a creative game. get a life and build some lego in real life, and quit dumbing down this industry by diverting attention and money away from creative talent making quality games for adults

you can pretend all you want that it's about being bitter or some sort of simplistic narcisism. It won't change the fact that more and more developers are making dumber and dumber games to cash in on the casual market's demand for simplistic games. Which of course reduces the number of technologically advanced games for the not so dumb gamers out there. Who in their right mind wouldn't be annoyed by that. What if all there was to listen to was justin beiber and katy perry. Would you think i'm bitter just because i want higher quality music.

ugggh so many Minecon vids.....brain hurting.......I want to go to Minecon next year so I can prevent this from happening again. By ANY means necessary. Even if it means poisoning all the GS reporters and strangling the camera man, It must be done for the good of gamerkind!

the issue is there is nothing else to read/watch. it's a total blackout of quality coverage for quality games. There are so many things going on in the industry that aren't being covered now.

Minecraft definitely inspires creativity among the user base. Kudos to that. But this whole Minecraft presentation seems so half assed and amateurish. While Notch is extremely nice and very pleasant, his whole demeanor just seems to be someone that just doesn't care. any longer. I mean, his physique has gone to the birds and , dude, you have 20 million dollars now, get your teeth fixed. Also, for crying out loud, please give Indiana Jones his damn hat back!

Notch is a fraud.. He took another game and tweaked it a little bit. Although a great a polite person. But he will no longer be making another great game. As the best game he has to offer, is still not even complete. So what makes you think he is going to make another good game... that is even complete?

@jthotty He could have stopped with half of the content of Minecraft and still it would have been a great game. Then he could have sold DLC updates and still have fallen short of the amount of gameplay that this masterpiece has become. Had he done it the way you have suggested, sir, he would have made a lot more money then he could have cashed out all of his new found wealth and fame and put it into a shallow, over hyped clunky console port like so many other game publishers we know. OOOOOR he could do what he actually did do having real vision and integrity and create an epic masterpiece reminding everyone why the gaming market is in decline. Being smart and greedy does not a good game maker make. Being a Gamer in heart and soul does. We need more publishers and developers out there who care about more than just their wallets.
