For us that fondly remember the Power Rangers from the 90's this is a fun blast from the past. Fun beat-em-up too.

The Power Rangers played a big part growing up in the 90's. They were my favorite TV show at the time. This was one of the earliest games I played on the SNES. It's tough to rate and compare old-school games to modern games. This game doesn't last long-maybe 50 minutes to an hour to pass the entire game but every minute is fun.

It's a simple side scrolling beat-em-up. You pick your ranger amongst the original 5 and go through a level with a fun boss encounter in the end. Midway through the level the ranger morphs into their costume and gain the ability to use their weapon. The final two levels(7 in total) are completely different from the first 5. They are super fun as well. Graphics are good for its time and the enemies kind of look the same with some minor differences but thats ok, the bosses have some nice detail. The rangers themselves look good in their not costumed selves. When the costume goes on though they all look the same except with different colors. This looks especially weird since the Pink and Yellow Ranger(girls of course) looks just as ripped and buff as the Red Ranger(or any of the guy rangers) in their costume. Kind of amusing but hey there were strict memory limitations back then.

Anyway this a fun game that is good for a sitting. It has aged well and can commonly be found on Ebay for affordable prices. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cool beat-em-up from the 90's or any Power Ranger fan who somehow has overlooked this game for the past 15 or so years.
