It's a good collection, but these are twenty year old games, so keep your expectations in check.
The games are pretty accurately reproduced. I cannot say for certain that they're spot on because my memory of these games has faded over the years. Some of them never got a quarter out of me while they were in the arcades. They're about worth a 25 cent play now, good for a few minutes of fun whilst in line at the post office or bank, if you can get past the not-arcade-precise controls. The controls aren't necessarily bad, mind you, but games that relied on joysticks, trackballs, and paddles, don't always translate well onto the eight-way D-pad of the PlayStation.
Nonetheless, this isn't a bad collection. I do believe that people tend to romanticize the games of yesteryear only to be let down when they see them again in a modern-day setting. If you can avoid getting lulled into that trap, there is some value to be had here.
