Buy this only if you want MK1, MK2, and MK3. Everything else is crap.
First off, let me go about the graphics in this game. The Mortal Kombat series are decent. The problem is that it doesn't support full wide screen. I wonder why didn't Midway fixed that, instead, they put 2 black bars on the sides. That's really unacceptable and lazy development. They just basically port it over to a smaller screen.
The sounds in MAT:EP is unbalance. Some games are louder than others and some you can't even hear it. WTF?!!
The controls on MK's are exactly like the arcade and console versions. They are done well. But the other games controls are just horrible. You can barely play the other games with the controls. It kills the gameplay when you have bad controls.
I have tried Gauntlet and other games but they are too old to enjoy. They are showing their age. You can have fun for a few minutes but then it starts to get repetive and boring. Some games even has bugs in them. I was like "WTF?" and they didn't fix it. It felt like they rushed a port out thinking it is acceptable. Very bad decision Midway. You guys have made me lost hope on your games. The only next thing I'm looking foward to is MK vs DC. Other than that, you guys don't deserve any praise.
As I said before, if you planning to play MK on the go. This is the best deal instead.
