This is a tough recommendation for anyone that doesn't have a real interest in fighting games.

Midway Arcade Treasures 2 Here's to 20 more! Graphics (12.5%) - 6.5 Controls (15%) - 6 Variety (25%) - 7.5 Replay (25%) - 6.5 Sound (7.5%) - 8 Depth (15%) - 7 OVERALL - 6.86 Graphics - 6.5 The graphics are a bit more forgiving this time 'round for Midway Arcade Treasures 2. Most of the graphics are clear although not all that advanced. The worst of which is Pit Fighter which can have some difficulty distiguishing everything. Controls - 6 For the multiple fighting games, there is room for improvement. None of them feel all that responsive, which can be a real problem for fighters. The rest held up better, especially Cyberball 2079 and Championship Sprint. Variety - 7.5 How can you say no to 20 arcade games? There's a solid variety here, but the fact that there are 4 fighting games with Primal Rage and Pit Fighter feeling obsolete to MK2 & MK3, that detracts, and Rampage World Tour doesn't feel all that special. Overall the games don't feel all that special but the variety is still there, and the inclusion of a couple of unique sports games was a nice touch. Replay - 6.5 The replay value is limited if you aren't a big fan of the older fighters, and moreso if you have the first Midway Arcade Treasures. The same thing as the first applies though, as there are enough games here that you should find something to like. Sound - 8 There's music to be heard and everything is crisper. Mortal Kombat is certainly the outstanding game here. Depth - 7 While some strategy can be derived, they are still fast action arcade games that is mainly about continuous play rather than much thought. Overall - 6.86 This is a tough recommendation for anyone that doesn't have a real interest in fighting games. I've had a fair deal of fun with Cyberball 2079 outside of that, and Championship Sprint improves in translation of the original, but if you aren't a real fan of fighting games, then I can't really suggest Midway Arcade Treasures 2.
