SWEEEET Street racin indeed

User Rating: 8.9 | Midnight Club II PS2
From the graphics to the gameplay I do have to say this game is WAY up there on the street racing genre. Fun to cruise in a crash and burn kinda style, maps are adventurous enough to keep you looking for new nooks n crannies, while large enough to just about forget where the previous nook was. Nice library of cars. And the playability is really the one thing (if there was just one thing) that keeps bringin me back. One of those "Yeah I got time for another run" kinda games. Breakdown of my ratings. Difficulty I gave a Just right, to me meaning its just difficult enough to have to loose the race the first few times, but easy enough to know that the one more shot MIGHT just be the winning one. Learning Curve I gave 30-60 instead of lesser, just due to the driving upgrades obtained through playing. Learning the weight transfer on the bikes were tricky... the 2 wheel driving deal took a little relearning of my original controls... but not difficult. Just tricky Time spent playing is rounded And the Classification of ROCKS is fairly self explanatory. Due to GS's 7.5 rating I was close to choosing "Underappreciated", mainly because it does truly rock! Gameplay I gave 9 for reasons explained above. Graphics... until it compares with Turismo it aint getting higher than an 8, but it IS awful purdy. Sound. Without 5.1 surround you just aint getting higher than an 8 from me Value, see above.
