A great game

This game was for me a bit of an overhyped game, since I had imagined it to be much grander then it turned out to be, with that said it's still a great game but it was not the awesome game I had hoped it to be.

To start with the good stuff. The gameplay is solid and fun, with a mix of stealth and 3rd person combat, while there is not a huge amount of different attacks or combos it is still very fun. The graphics are crisp and the death animation are really really good, when you see that Uruk head fly off and it has it's mouth open in what looks like astonishment and then when it rolls across the ground and the mouth closes and opens it looks awesome. The nemesis system was to me pretty much the deal maker for this game and while after playing for a while it can be seen as a bit shallow, the potential that can be seen for the future is quite aweinspiring.

I usually find it hard to write about the good stuff and I also find that most other reviews often has already touched these and pretty much in a better way then I can.

Now for the bad parts there were not many bugs and the game never crashed for me none of the bugs had any real affect on gameplay either. The intro that every warchief/captain does when you meet them and the death animation when they die can be a bit annoying in the long run, for instance I was fighting a captain I am about to use my special skill to kill him after having built up my combo, a new captain apears I have to listen to his intro for about 10 seconds, my attack was interrupted and my combo reset. This then happens 2 more times before I in the end had to run away instead without being able to kill the first one which was just an easy kill which turned impossible after the interrupts and the extra captains + Uruk's, The story is thin and feels like it could be so much more.

The game when it comes to the end game part feels unfinished and rushed, this is largely in part because of the two last boss fights. I mean the first boss fight is a fully fledged boss fight, the second one is you have 8 mins to do 3 stealth attacks after 30 seconds I finished it, and the last boss fight happens almost instantly after the second one and is just a few quick time events and then the games story is over.

It took me 12 hours to finish the game in that time I had played around alot more with nemesis then I had to and almost done every challenge and side quest, and gathered all the lore objects. The game can most likely be finished in 6-8 hours, to get a 100% complete game I would most likely need 1-2 more hours at most.
