Flight Simulator X

User Rating: 9 | Microsoft Flight Simulator X PC
Flight Simulator X (FSX) is a highly advanced and intelligent piece of software. It allows you to experience flying some thing so small as a Cessna 172 or some thing as big as a 777-200ER or a 747-400. It is arguable the best sim game out there, respectively. The details and the textures of the planes and world around you are truely magnificent and will immerse you in the whole flying experience! The runways and ground AI are very accurate to real world specifications and are a joy to observe in action. Also the AI of aircrafts and boats and trains are believable. The ATC commands and actions are pretty realistic to what they would appear to be in real life aviation. The content of the game is also exclusively devoted to the users of the software. The detail is very good, accurate, and has a wide variety of airports and runways all over the world for you to land at. There are over 24,000 realistic airports all over the globe. You also have the ability to select real world weather were ever you want in the world, and the game will tune to the local weather station and download real time weather and will load it into the game every 15 minute if you chose so. Also the geography and world landmarks will match the part of the world you choose to fly in. So the famous Egyptian Pyramids will be in Giza, Egypt, Niagra Falls will be in Canada ( and NY depending on which side you go yo), the Rock Of Gibraltar will also be in the game, and much more. There are over 25 missions for you to complete in the missions mode. Also there are water ways and boats at ports and ferrys near landmarks and near metropolis cities such as the Hudson, Niagra Falls Ferrys, the famous Greek island of Santorini. The game comes with a starter pack of default jets and aircrafts that you get. But feel free to download any missing planes or any planes that you desire to have online on Freeware websites, but if you want to have more detailed models and good quality work you can download payware package models also online. But the game requirements for space can be a rather bit large. Around 15GB or something like that, that's the bare minimum too. So it might be a good idea to install this game on a gaming computer vs your everyday professional use computer. Also I mentioned above that this sim is a great work of quality but that's for users's who can enjoy it. If you're going to run this on a normal computer or notebook then your frame rate will probably drop way too low and the game will be choppy. That's the only problem with this game, it's only going to be good and ideal for user's who have gaming computers or have enough power, space, and a good graphics card to run it. Microsoft's FSX is a great piece of work, if you have the power to run the game then it will give you countless hours of fun and cool things.
