737 Pilot In Command (PIC) - A blast from the past; flying the 737-300/400/500

This is an addon for Microsoft Flight Simulator for the Boeing 737 - models 300/400/500. There are still quite a number of these aircraft flying. In fact there are even a number of older 737's flying. I know since I worked at Aloha Airlines from 2007-2008 and they flew the old analog gauge models.

Flying this addon is just plain fun. I am always finding that when I have not flown for awhile I always have trouble starting the engines because I forgot to turn of the air conditioners before staring them and I can't get enough bleed air to get the engine started. I slap my forehead, turn off the air conditioners and the engine starts right up. It is that kind of little detail that makes this fun.

I always wanted to fly one of these since I read Robert Serling's book She'll Never Get Off The Ground. Firing up FS2004 and loading up a 737-300/400/500 gives me a chance to fulfill that wish. While the PMDG 737 addon is better it is for the 600/700/800/900 models. Sometimes I just want to fly one of the older planes.

I would recommend this addon for those who want to fly the older version of the 737. I would also recommend Mike Ray's book The Unofficial Boeing 737 Super Guppy 300-400-500 Simulator and Checkride Procuedures Manual. It is funny and informative.
