Replica of another sims / roleplaying game...

The goal of this game was to create a character and make them pursue in either of the 3 careers: actor, singer, and model. To reach your goals you will have to meet new people, work for money, and upgrade your self.

Just like the sims, you get to interact with people, walk around, and customize your characters (get them to study and appear more sexy looking -by brushing your hair for the 100th time in front of the mirror....)as well as choosing new clothings and furnitures.
But overall this was very shallow. Although there are many choices as to where you can go, you will find that the things you are doing in one area is exactly the same as another, except of course, a different environment. Sure, its nice to have different environments (e.g bars, v.i.p clubs, and even a cruise) but the fun fades away soon enough when the exploring is done.

You don't get to do much in terms of character interaction. Chat ->Compliment>joke>flirt>invite back to house> ??? There isn't enough in depth character relationship development going on(they don't really care about my character flirting with another after i was done with them...), and i basically got tired of having my character socialize with other characters, unless it was needed for the storyline.

Storyline: well, theres not much of a story here is there? earn cash (by doing 3 of the same jobs everyday) and hook up with people. All in the name of fame. . Small tasks are generally repetitive, and I agree with another review: Your the hamster on the wheel.

Plus side?: Varied locations , passable graphics.
Could've taken it further, but I guess its just another experimental thing a game manufacturer decides to whip out onto a DS console.
