*Fresh Catch*... With so many weapons and different areas to explore, Metroid Prime is one for the ages.

That first sentence really sums up this game. Just plain great, truly a masterpiece. As you go along in this game you pick up new weapons, and new features for Samus. As you get deeper and deeper into the game you will find places to use those new weapons. You need everything you get in order to succesfully beat this game.
The only downside to this game is how incredible hard this game is, there is no possible way to beat this game without some type of a guide, period. End of story, it's impossible without something guiding you through it. There are too many levels, places to go and explore for you to follow the course you're supposed to go on. If you plan on being successful in Metroid Prime - GO GET A GUIDE! The fact that there is no multiplayer is disappointing, but all Metriod Prime fans know that that void was filled in Metroid Prime 2 : Echoes.
Other than those small down sides to the game, it's simply incredible. The way this game plays doesn't allow you to put it down. Samus' capabilities make you want to keep going and going until the game is done. The creators of Metriod Prime have truly created a masterpiece.
I give Metroid Prime a 9.0/10.0
