User Rating: 10 | Metroid Prime Trilogy WII
the Metroid Prime Trilogy is one of the greatest values in gaming! This one disk comes jam packed with three of the greatest Metroid games ever made, as well as tons of extra bonus content! Here is the breakdown on each game:

Metroid Prime-The most innovative game in the franchise. Metroid Prime proved to everyone that Metroid could be done as a first-person action game. Nothing was lost in the translation to 3D! You still controlled Samus as you travel across Tallon IV collecting upgrades, battling creatures and space pirates, solving challenging puzzles, and besting challenging bosses!

Pros-Massive, atmospheric world to explore. Tons of great weapons and upgrades to collect. Amazing boss battles. Challenging puzzles. Improved control with the Wii remote.

Cons-A little too much back tracking.
Score-10/10

Metroid Prime 2 Echoes: An outstanding followup to the amazing original! While the basic template was the same there were tons of new enemies to fight, new upgrades, and more challenging and creative boss fights! Echoes also made use of a staple Nintendo theme with the light/dark world, making for some creative puzzles!

Pros-An all new adventure with new enemies, weapons, and items. Excellent use of the light/dark world makes for some great puzzles. Great boss fights. Dark Samus.

Cons-Again with the back tracking.
Score-10/10

Metroid Prime 3 Corruption-The first game in the series to use motion controls and use them right! Corruption tries to add a more cinematic flare to Samus' adventure and for the most part succeeds! The use of Samus' ship to solve puzzles is creative, as well as the ability to travel to different planets. This adds more variety in the environments. Great bosses, fun exploration, and the best puzzles the series ever had makes Corruption an amazing end to the Prime trilogy! Only a few nitpicks hold this game back from the greatness achieved by it's prequels.

Pros-Amazing puzzles. Fun combat and great boss fights. Dark Samus. Great use of motion controls.

Cons-Backtracking. Not as many weapons and upgrades as the other two games. Voice acting breaks Nintendo tradition! :(
Score-9.5/10

As if this were not enough there are tons of extras like a book with concept art, a book highlighting major moments in the Metroid universe, unlockable music tracks, and unlockable concept art on disk. With so much stuff in one package you would be crazy not to own this game!
