    With two dimensional and three dimensional gameplay, this game is twice as interesting.

    i just don't understand why do little kids these days feel so butthurted when they hear an opinion they don't like...maybe because mommy refused to get you more than 1 console or something?

    Still i guess to each his own. personally i'm beyond the age of mario n donkey kong. I like more immersive, mature games like MGS 4 or Uncharted. Being a huge fan of cinema there's nothing better for me than to experience a cinematic game first hand as the protagonist.

    @Nexus_Gage I disagree you with completely. While the Wii is "weak" graphically compared to the PS3 and Xbox 360, the same could be said of both systems when compared to a powerful, dual- or quadruple GFX card PC system. Is your standard of graphics comparatively, or relatively to the system? If it's comparative, then all consoles fail to match the power of a 'supped up PC. At any rate, there is a solid and worthy library of good, quality games on the Wii. Enough so that it is well worth the price of the system. Sure, not as many as the PS3 or Xbox 360, but the vast majority of all of the great titles the Wii offers are exclusives that you can't play on any other system. I recommend any serious gamer with enough cash buy either a PS3 or Xbox 360, and then a Wii. And of course, you wouldn't be truly complete without at least a fairly decent gaming rig PC as well.

    oooh!!! hit a soft spot did i? chill out mate......... i'm a pretty old gamer myself..... started with a sega mega drive 2.... yeah sure its nostalgic... but look to the future..... the wii's tech is redundant and u know it.....

    @Nexus_Gage
    being a prejudice douche bag is not how you should talk to people, first let me tell you, i am a 360 and a ps3 owner i don't own a WII mainly because their main target with the Wii was family gaming and sadly your "elite consoles" (ROFL) are following Nintendo's foot steps with the Move and Kinect BS,and you defiantly know nothing about how great the Snes era was and know nothing about how these nostalgic games (Zelda,Metriod,Donkey kong..etc) make us relatively old gamers(27 year old) feel.
    just because you are a Sony fanboy (yea i smell your kind) you don't have to insult people to defend your precious "elite console".

    @botroo3: Ur probably still a bed wetter if u think tht the wii even compares to the ps3 or the x360..... those are elite consoles while the wii is a gaming system for kids and ppl too lazy or dyslexic to play real sports... i mean seriously wii sports?!?!? get a life!!!

    seriously if Nintendo released the WII with a better hardware ,Sony and Microsoft would have left the gaming industry.

    One thing I don't understand about this game is how it seems to look worse than the original Metroid Prime for the Gamecube, a game that is nearly 10 years old now?

    i kind of like the concept of a metroid game that's story based, but they should have simultaneously released a more classic metroid game

    This game is much better with a PS controller, after playing it on wii i stopped after a few hours, cause this game just needs classic controls. I played it on dolphin in hd, using a PS controller - everything runs pretty good and the game is much more fun to play as on wii. Would be great to see a second metroid game from team ninja - but in HD and with classic controls for a new Nintendo system. could be added with this one as it plays on dolphin. Guess Other M would be great hit with the right controls. I ask myself if this was the idea of team ninja or nintendo. guess nintendo wanted just some motion controls and Tm just put some moves on, but i really wonder classic controls are not possible as a second option. Guess most who bought this game would be prefer classic controls. Switching the wii remote is maybe an interresting idea but if you need to switch it 5 or 10 or more times in a fight you just start asking youtself why they used such bad control scheme. I would say the controls are the worst i have ever seen in all games i used to play as its a great game experience its really sad.

    Looks great, the only reason I haven't bought it, is cause the control scheme completely puts me off.

    Using it as NES controller and move around in 3D using the D-pad.
    I can just imagine how ghey it must be :/

    They should have went with the nunchuck for 3D movement, like Zelda: Twilight Princess.
