reminds you why Metroid is one of the greatest series of all time.

This is a truely great handheld Metroid adventure.

But not without it's flaws. For one, it is woefully short. Actually, thats really the my only complaint with this game; it only took me a total of 5 hours to beat. 5 HOURS!

But once you get past it's shortness, there is alot to love.

It follows in the foot steps of Super Metroid on SNES, and the result is something that can't be called anything besides spectacular.

There are epic bosses, extremely cool enemies, weapons, upgrades and suits. There is alot to do. You have an extremely large area to explore. The gameplay is of course the signature "Metroidvania" hop and shoot, action platforming. This is perfect. It doesn't get much better than that.

The graphix hold up well today, but well it's the GBA. You can live with it.

The music is great. It has the dark, futuristic, brooding music you'd come to expect from Metroid games. The sound effects are pretty good too, but again limited by the woefully outdated GBA hardware.

Value? Tons. You can find this game for about $10 on ebay, and it's worth it. This is a fantastic game.

Its hard not to like this game; it provides quality Nintendo entertainment at a good price. You'll just be wishing it was longer.
