- "Immersive"
And I thought we had enough FPS's with linear campaigns, that the genre was worn out. I was wrong, along comes Metro 2033's sequel, and what a great one it is. Basically Metro last light is your standard shooter when it comes to gameplay; u shoot from cover and throw grenades. The games looks and feels like your regular Call of Duty wannabe on easy Mode, but then you switch to Ranger hardcore mode. Now, bullets almost acts like actual bullets, and u can down most humans with a bullet or two, but thats goes for you to.
All HUD is removed, you have to guess how many bullets you got, and it feels like a heartattack when your AK goes "click". The intense realistic gameplay is so addictive, that it will have you cleanse the russian metro of every single human and mutant.
although at times, especially towards the end, "last Light" feels a bit to "generic"
especially some of the boss battles makes you think "Call of Metro: Black Light"
and enough with the quicktime events please!
This is some of the most immersive gameplay i have ever tried, and in my oppinion, the best in the Post apocalyptic genre since Fallout 3.
