Not enough filters in game

Beautiful graphics but it takes more than pretty pictures to make a good game. Plot was semi-original and started out ok, but by the time I was halfway throught the game it started to feel half-baked... like they started writing the game without an ending and made up the ending as they went along. It went from plausible to ridiculous in a hurry. the last third of the game felt like a bad acid trip.

Overlooking the blase feel of the game was easy because that seems to have become the norm in video games. So what was the straw that broke the game for me? There are not enough filters to explore the game enjoyably... only to rush through... and you CAN"T BUY THEM! A game hint says to search for new air filters when you run low... Great! Nothing like spending 2 1/2 minutes to search for 3 minutes worth of air. If you run out of filters, guess what--you're f****d. You'll have to play at least one, maybe several chapters over until you eek through... simultaneously boring and aggravating.
