Metro 2033 is a good game, but unfortunately has a short campaign.

Metro 2033 is a FPS with brief moments of survival horrors, based on the book by Dmitry Glukhovsky, was developed by 4A Games.

Story

Metro 2033 tells the story of a young man called Artyom and occurs in a post-apocalyptic environment. The action takes place in Russia in the meter of course. Personally I enjoyed the story of the game, especially the two possible endings, both are capable of being the best moment in the history of the game, unfortunately I do not know what the similarity to the book by Dmitry Glukhovsky.

Score: 8.0

Sound

This is in my opinion the weakest point in this game, though the sound isn't bad at all. For me the work on the guns shoots is good. The best moments and when the sound work shows its quality is on heartbeat times, breathing moments, and the fabulous vocal work with that Russian accent.

Score: 7.5

Graphics

Opposite to the Sound, this is in my opinion along with the Gameplay one of the best parts of the game. The textures are very good, I highlight the skin texture and the detail of the mask which I really enjoyed (especially when it starts to break down). The only part that ends up harming the graphic work is in my opinion the eyes, they're static and poorly made. Taking out the eyes problem, the game is very good graphically.

Score: 8.5

Gameplay

In the Gameplay we don't have anything new, just prepare your gun and shoot! However it has little details that make the game experience much better, for example when we are wounded and we have to use the medkits, we can see Artyom opening a small box with syringes and inject them into himself. There are other small innovative details like this but in general it remains a typical fps.

Score: 8.0

In conclusion, Metro 2033 has a very interesting story (I became curious to read the book) and graphically impressive in some aspects. In general is a good game but could never be more than that. You'll only regret not having a multiplayer and the short duration of the campaign.
