the best game made by Russians so far...

Well, when I started playing this game, I've had my doubts, despite all predictions, the games made by russian developers, have never reached (so far) that point, that would place them in "Hall of Fame"...
However, you must play before judge, hehehe. a golden rule of gamer.
So, once started I loved this game. And here I`ll tell you why:
Storyline: just amazing. this time they did work it out. The game make you to pass it on a single "breath". Half-Life has come to my mind... Not to many games could be pround of such a storyline. I guess The only detail I think was out of place: presence of Nazis...I still do not really understand, how did they get there... I like nazi related games, but this time it is just does not fit...
Gameplay: almost flawless. very immersive. does not become boring (like STALKER). good balance between your current task and free roam. the world around (the rest of it, hehehehe) it's just amazing, so it is a pleasure to take a little break and take a look around...
Difficulty: very good balanced. almost all the time you just go straight ahead... monsters and enemies are not very smart, but at least the gameplay does not become a torture. Autosave works pretty good. no complains.
Weapons: oustanding. kinda realistic stuff, with good addons. strange (but deadly) homemade arms (believe me, only Russian can figure out something like that. I say it, because I`m a Russian) Player has a fair amount of weapons to choose from, without excessive powerful ones... The amount you can carry is just fair.
Gear: excellent. gas mask, nightvision googles, flashlight, even a curious hand driven battery charger... Like I said before: they figured out well this game...
Controls: nothing to say: very good. nothing complicated. worked pretty good
Graphic engine: very good. no visual issues. runs smoothly. I must apologize regarding I said before (in one of my posts regarding crashes of Metro... the fault was caused by PSU...), technically game works very well. no issues of any kind detected. I ran it on Nvidia GTX 295 with 1782 Mb, at 1980x1080...

Finalizing this (I do not want to become boring as well :)), Metro has exceeded all the expectations. My congradulations to developers team.
