This is a great game that definitely wont disappoint, but there are a few things that do get annoying. Please continue..

Before this game i had never played any game in the Metal Slug series and didn't know what it was about. After playing it for about 5 mins, however, i started to get hooked, but a little p****d off because the first level (of which there are 5 in total) is incredibly hard, especially for someone new to the series. I think that there could have been a training level or something to help teach the basics as it is a very hard game.

As i said, there is only 5 levels/missions and while they are hard, most missions can be done in less than 3 hours (not including last mission!). There is also a card system which extends the length of the game, but it is fairly easy to finish once you have beaten the game at least once.

Now, onto the statistics!!!

Gameplay - Great fun, extremely addictive and only minor flaws. Training level would have been nice, extremely easy to pick up and play. 8/10

Graphics - Some of the best on the GBA system. Detailed backgrounds with animations. Great frame rate runs smoothly. Funny animations on the enemies and prisoner of wars. 8/10

Sound - Clear, impressively loud sound with realistic gunshot, cannon fire and explosions constantly pummeling the GBA speakers. 8/10

Value - Not many levels or modes, although challenging and addictive gameplay that will last years and has great pick-up-and-play value.

Tilt - I really enjoyed this game. Highly recommended. 9/10
