What is Microsoft thinking??????
Though you have to pretty much try and figure out the story without any explanation from the charaters it's pretty simple and you understand it quite well.
The best thing about Metal Slug is that if you have never played it, it's always unexpected. You don't know whats headed down that river or underneath that Military Base.
The shooting is very simple but very challanging. Its relastic get shot once your dead is very affective and you will die many times.
My goal for Metal Slug has always been try and complete the game with one credit. Which i have yet to do.
Metal Slug is a truly amazing side shooter and i wish they would make more of these one day.
The only let down is that it's $10. $10 could be the price for a month of subserption for a online game or maybe a coffee and cake and a little somthing to take home at starbucks. But not $10 is not somthing you would set a price on a game like Metal Slug.
Addictive if playing in a Arcade not so on a consloe when you get infinate continues.
You will beat the game in 1 hour to 1hour 30 min tops. After that you might want to play it again which will take another 30 to 40mins. After that you will get bored for a while and may only play it when friends come over or when you have nothing else to do.
I suggest just go onto the Internet download a MAME emulator and download a Metal Slug ROM for FREE.
Old Arcade games like Metal Slug are free over the web and can be found everywhere.
Not worth buying if you ask me.
