This game is amazing. The graphics are superb, The multiplayer is a dream come true, and the replay value is off the chart. The sounds are good, and the music is mostly of redone nintendo classics. The controls are simple, yet the games can be super intense. (something most fighting games fail at.) There is no combo system, but this game dousn't need it. There are 24 levels, 25 characters, items galore. You can bash your friends in 4 player mode, or climb the ladder in a 64 person tournament. (this game can lan!) AND, theres actual incentive to play the single player mode. not only do you unlock characters and levels, but there are 190 trophies you can get consisting of videogame characters and levels, items and weapons from old to new. That and the single player mode can actually be fun! You can break targets with characters, do a 120 cpu melee (defeat 120 cpus with one life) play adventure mode, or play all-star mode. (Very hard.) And then theres the event matches! 51 specialized matches with objectives. There's stuff I haven't even mentioned! To own a gamecube and not this game is a crime against nature.
