This package, which collects the first three games in the Metal Gear Solid trilogy, it's meant for gamers new to the series rather than fans. The essential problem with this is that new converts can possibly find the three games cheaper in bargain bins of videogame shops. The other problem is, aside from Metal Gear Solid 2 which come in its extended edition, all the extras that came out later are missing in this package. Gone are the MGS VR missions and the extras from Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence. If you're packaging a "collection" that could be a "collector's edition", why leave stuff behind that could've been a big plus? I can't recommend this package to anyone. A real collector should have Metal Gear Solid and the now-rare VR Missions, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance and Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence which will have the original Metal Gear games. Now that's the full collection.
