I hate how gamespot treats this like a direct sequel to MGS3 when it's actually the sequel to MGS:portable ops for psp.

"Militaires Sans Frontieres" translates "Soldiers without Borders"

When you shoot enemies a cartoon red spray of blood comes out but its cartoon so it looks real fake.

Why is this rated t??? Did they take out the bloodspray and bloodstains that show up on the bodies of the enemies you shoot? If so, than that is retarded.

Download the demo from Playstation Store it is awesome and the cqc is really fun, throwing enemies into each other and knocking them both out. Or just blowing groups of enemies with a grenede or RPG.

This game lookes awesome! But whats up with that spaceship thing at the end? It's supposed to be in 1973. But still looks like an awesome game.

I don't know if they have different embargo, or if Gamespot reviewers are just slow, but IGN and Gametrailers reviews both up already. Gamespot is consistently last, and this is not only bad for competition, but bad for viewers of this website too. Although I like gamespot the best, I am constantly forced to visit the other sites if I want the fastest news.

@bobo I might not be pleased with the choice of platform (don't hit me! I preordered the Big Boss Bundle!), but I doubt anyone could even get to all the content in five full play-throughs. That Kojima just gives and gives and gives when it comes to production quality and content in his games.

@ Outer_Raven they cut him open and performed surgery on him so they could make more soldiers. (solid snake, liquid snake, solidus) If thats not the case then he cut himself so that he would be closer to his mom??? lol

To any one who thinks this is a just a washed down version of any console game think again. This game has the same amount of people in the development team as MGS4 and is produced, directed, designed and written by Hideo Kojima, Also the game offers over 100 hours of gameplay, which includes the single player aspect of the game, this is the most in depth MGS game ever created. Combining elements from the original mgs game and adding things like the recruit system, mother base, coop gameplay (for the first time in mgs) as well as creating your own metal gear and more. Also there is the most online capabilities in any MGS game from a full online multiplayer game similar to MGO to trading items and recruits with friends and obviously the coop. This is not only one of the best games on psp but also one of the best MGS games ever created.

Can this put to rest the disgrace of Ac!d? Hopefully.

As for all you people clueless as to why the trailer shows four snakes.. its kojimas way of say there will be co-op missions in the game.. pay attention to the text in the trailer to further confirm this. Or just read up on the game..

@ the_requiem The music in this trailer sounds just like the music in every MGS game since MGS2. And MGS2 came out long before your precious little Dark Knight.. so I don't think they are trying to copy the music from that over rated movie. Besides, I dont know if HGS williams is doing the music in this PSP game but it does sound very much like his music and I would love it if he was.
