MGS HD Collection takes the once-Playstation-exclusive Metal Gear games and revamps them with next-gen graphics to be shipped to today's consoles (X360, PS3, etc.). The gameplay's a carbon copy of the original titles, and that's just the way we like it; brains over brawn. Sure, you could mow through everyone with a light machinegun, but that takes away the skill, the rush and the excitement of stealth games such as this. You'd have to think, plan your movements, and avoid confrontation to get the best score possible.
The controls are smooth, the AI is (at times) at bit choppy but otherwise workable, and the storyline is impeccable. It takes a newcomer a slight bit to get into the groove, but once you get a hang of it, you'll be there for hours with your tranquilizer gun crawling through research facilities or Russian jungles. This game (or, games) is flawless. I recommend it to anyone and everyone.
