Being a huge MGS fan, I was extremely interested in this new game..er...I mean comic book...er... I mean Digital Graphic Novel (DGN). At first I took a some time to try to understand what this new PSP title was, so I looked up all the information on it that I could muster up, or at least I set out to. Only after 10 minutes of blitzing myself with screen-shots, updates and videos, I fell in love. What a concept! Dating back to our very late-great beloved NES, the Metal Gear series has been radically redefining, creatively reinventing, and 'stealth-fully' (is that a word?) enriching the game-play experience for us all. Whether you're a fan or not, the creators of Metal Gear have opened new doors for countless other titles to follow through. So it is with great pleasure that I, once again, am completely knock on my bottom by yet another bold, fresh idea.
So after looking at the screen-shots, updates and videos what do you suppose I did next? That's right, I literally jumped up from my keyboard, ran to the store (well... I actually drove to the store), and purchased the last copy available of the MGS:DGN. Once getting it home, I can honestly say that I was not disappointed. I am very impressed by this fresh new genre of gaming experience. Plus the extra added features that revolve around the story are more then enough to keep me engrossed for longevity in game-play...er...DGN-play. I give this new title a very high recommendation. If you like MGS (or if you don't like it but you do like comic books), you are really gonna like this game...er...DGN...(that's going to take some time to get used to).
