About Liquid and Ocelot?

Well I was just wondering if any of you knew the answer to my question. You see I think I understand how Ocelot sort of "became Liquid" to fool the system or whatever. But what I'm wondering is why in MGS2 do we hear the real Liquid speaking when Ocelot is taken over? Did Liquid ever play a part in it? Or did they just decide not to use that voice for Liquid in MGS4? I guess what I mean is, was that Ocelot beginning his "personality implant" or was it really Liquid in MGS2?

It's most likely Liquid was actually taking over Ocelot at the Tanker and maybe on Big Shell. After all, he has changed the arm to a biomechanical one as seen in the final fight and the only reason why he would have done so would be that the arm was causing trouble.
I think he got the idea to fool the Patriots from his experience with the arm.

In MGS2, I think they used Liquid's voice just to show that he was not Ocelot. Liquid never had anything to do with Ocelot's changing personality. He was simply doing that to fool the Patriots.
